origami: Cactus

Hola de nuevo: Hi again,

Esta semana he vuelto a los boletines que la asociación da de forma general a todos los socios. El diagrama de este cactus está en la pajarita número 25 y es una creación de David Petty.

Este tipo de figuras me gustan mucho, ya que no son complejas de doblar y el resultado es muy chulo, aunque sufro un poco al ensamblarlo.

This week I want to show an origami from the magazine of the Spanish origami society, this cactus is from the number 25 and was created by David Petty.

I love this kind of items because they are easy to fold and the last result is wonderful, though I usually some problems curving it and connected both sides.

El papel: paper:

No puedo explicar de qué tipo es, toda la información viene en japonés y es muy difícil traducirla, pero lo que si puedo aportar es que compré el paquete en el EMOZ, vienen 30 papeles de 35x35 cm, cada uno es de un color y la parte de atrás es blanca.

In spite of I tried to translate the paper's cover I can't say the kind of it because the phone's translator is horrible. But I can say that I bought it when I went to the EMOZ museum, that the pack had 30 papers of 35x35 cm, and each of them has a different colour but all of them are white in the back side.

Tuve que doblar dos veces el cactus para que quedase un poco decente. Hoy he hecho fotos de ambos para que se vea la diferencia (si la hay).

I had to try twice until get the final result. I have added some photographs to show the differences (if it is any one) between both.
